In the last couple of years STEMA/PEDAX has invested strongly in increasing its service organisation. We want to be global, local and present just when it is needed. This is how we ensure the customer’s investment and daily business in the best possible way.

Arne Hansen, service engineer, has worked on many continents installing machines, servicing and trouble-shooting at STEMA/PEDAX-customers: Scandinavia, Germany, Middle East, Australia, USA and Brazil are, just to name a few, some of the places where companies have received the after-sales service, which guarantees their production - often twenty four hours round the clock. production.

As a service engineer at STEMA/PEDAX you do not operate in a fixed area, but you work flexibly with the opportunity of arriving just on time at customers who need a service visit here and now. At the same time, the engineers jointly visit customers who have entered into a service contract for regular check-ups of their machines.

– The customers are always very glad to see us, says Arne Hansen, and even though there might be problems, we can almost always solve them so well that the machines can work again. Normally we bring with us the most common spare parts, so it is only in special cases that we have to order them. These “special spare parts” are delivered by courier within 24 hours no matter where the need arises anywhere in the world.

– A quick turn-out can really surprise our customers. A large enterprise in Trier with many of our machines in operation contacted our local sales representative one evening at 8 p.m. and reported operational problems. I was soon contacted via our service manager, Jan Nielsen, and, as I was in the area, the company already had all their machines back in operation by 10 p.m.!

Something similar happened to Arne Hansen in Abu Dabi, Emirates: I was driving my car only two km. from the customer’s plant , when I received his call. The customer was so surprised and glad when I turned up at his place just a few minutes after !
